Pumpkin Pie 1

  • 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch single crust pie

  • 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree

  • 1 cup packed brown sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger

  • 2 tablespoons molasses

  • 3 eggs, beaten

  • 1 cup evaporated milk


    1. Mix together pumpkin, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and molasses. Blend in eggs and evaporated milk. Pour filling into pie shell.
    2. Bake at 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) for 40 minutes, or until set.
